Lodge instead of Guest Farm

Enlarged, newly decorated rooms. Improved Wi-Fi. 220 volt electricity without a rattling diesel generator. Guests have been experiencing the farm atmosphere at BüllSport for a long time in lodge comfort. This is more than enough reason for a change of name: Since the beginning of the new year instead of Guest Farm BüllsPort it is called BüllsPort Lodge & Farm.

All 14 rooms are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fan. A small refrigerator keeps perishable food for the journey fresh; there is a kettle to make coffee or tea. The sockets provide 220 volt power for chargers and blow dryers – around the clock and without the annoying rattle of a diesel generator, because BüllsPort is connected to the public electricity grid.

The bathroom with shower and sink is separated from the toilet. The style and atmosphere of the approximately 50 m² rooms can best be described as an appealing and personal mix of rustic farm and comfortable lodge (for more about the rooms see accommodation).

BüllsPort has also invested in modern technology. The Wi-Fi network offers free internet access in the dining room and on the coffee terrace as well as on the verandas of the rooms.

Guest service and care are being improved, too. In addition to the owners Johanna and Ernst Sauber, manager Senanelo ‘Sunny’ Moyo takes care of the guests and helps with the training of employees during their daily work. For horsback rides  Johanna and her trained riding guide Andreas “Matam” Sitentu are available. On farm drives the guests rave about the guide David Hanse.

However, the good old Namibian guest farm tradition, according to which farmers and guests have dinner together, has not been changed. Johanna and Ernst Sauber still join the guests and give an insight into the everyday life on the farm and in Namibia.
