If you stay longer, you pay less per night. B\u00fcllsPort is sticking to this principle in the coming travel season. The prices from November 2024 can now be viewed on the website. However, there is one important change. It affects the months of November, December and January…<\/p>\n

Climate change or not: in recent years, it has been exceptionally warm in Namibia in midsummer more and more often. This also applies to B\u00fcllsPort. On such days, hiking and riding were only possible in the early morning and late afternoon.<\/p>\n

This meant that the seven-hour Quiver Tree Gorge Hiking Trail<\/a> was out of the question. Even the five-hour tour with a drive to the plateau, three hours of hiking through the gorge and a drive from the pick-up point back to the lodge proved to be daring. After all, most of the guests are not used to Namibia’s dry and warm climate.<\/p>\n

But even experienced hikers from Namibia and South Africa leave their hiking poles in the cupboard when it gets too warm. It is not without reason that the well-known multi-day hiking trails in the national parks are only open in winter – from the beginning of May to mid-September.<\/p>\n

B\u00fcllsPort closed from November to January<\/strong><\/h5>\n

B\u00fcllsPort is not B\u00fcllsPort without hiking and horse riding. That’s why the hospitality operation will be closed throughout the summer from next season. This year this applies from 16 November to 31 January. From next year, the closure will last from 1 November to 31 January.<\/p>\n

However, this still leaves nine months for guests to explore and enjoy the world of the Naukluft Mountains at B\u00fcllsPort. In addition to discounted rates for longer stays of two, three or even six nights<\/a>, B\u00fcllsPort also offers special rates for family rooms<\/a>.<\/p>\n
